The Young Leaders of CoreNet Global's NYC chapter again teamed up with high school students from inner-city youth organization Harlem RBI for an evening of college and career advice. The event was held on April 2, 2009 and hosted by AllSteel.

Five Young Leaders served as panelists, including Christian Bryan of IAC Interactive Corp, Sarah Currie of VVA Project Managers & Consultants, Marisa Falletta of Citi, Kenny Rodriguez of BNY Melon and Cindy Quan of Goldman Sachs, offering helpful advice to a room full of 25 energetic teenagers. A number of Young Leaders attended and were thrilled to work with the high school students once again. Students asked the Young Leader panelists various questions about the economy, their first jobs, personal interests and hobbies outside of work and which college classes they recommended.

The panel discussion was followed by breakout groups where small groups of students had a chance to ask one or two Young Leaders questions in a more intimate setting. They also had the opportunity to speak with each young professional individually about his or her current work position and career path.  Towards the end of the event the students enjoyed snacks and casual networking with Young Leader members who are employed in different areas of corporate real estate ranging from property management, architecture and design, project management, and finance.
