A Global Financial Services Organization
Project Management services for the design and construction of a 25,000 sq. ft. Data Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Project parameters as follows:
- 20,000 square feet of “White Space” designed at 50 watts per square foot
- 36” Raised Floor throughout the space
- Entire space supported by Emergency Generator System designed to 2N+1 requirements
- Modifications to existing Chilled Water Plant designed to 2N+1. Two independent risers to Chilled Water loop located under the raised floor. CRAC units installed in a N+1 configuration
- Installation of new U.P.S. System one megawatt in 2N+1 configuration
- Installation of circuit monitoring system to monitor amperage of every circuit connected to the U.P.S. System
- Installation of Building Management System monitored on-site and at remote locations
- Installation of Pre-Action Fire Suppression System
- Project completed, October 2004. VVA's scope of services included: Due diligence, Lease/Co-location agreement negotiation, Consultant selection, Budgeting
Scheduling, Design management, Value engineering, Contract negotiation, Constructability review, Construction administration, Management of commissioning process, and Post-occupancy phase.
