VVA’s leadership role in the Preliminary (Project Orientation) Phase, from project inception through the start of the Design Phase, is extremely important in establishing the benchmarks against which the design and implementation of the project will be measured. Collaborating with the Client and real estate representatives, VVA will complete the following steps during a typical project:

· Consultant Selection and Procurement
· Project Goals and Program Review
· Preliminary Schedule Development
· Preliminary Budget Preparation and Coordination
· Base Building Systems Evaluation & Coordination
· Lease Evaluation Related to Construction & Tenant Improvements (where applicable)
